This time of year reminds me of baseball. For many years my boys have played baseball. My youngest son, Luke, took it to another level. I took him all over the state of Michigan, as well as, to some of the surrounding states. His dream was to someday play baseball for a college. Well, that dream is coming true for him this fall, as he heads for Cedarville University with a baseball scholarship. I learned many things about baseball, but an important aspect is that it is a team sport. It takes every player to play their position well to win the game.
Ladies, I would challenge you to join me as we team up to play the game (of life) to win! Get into the positions on the field that you were meant to play. Get off the bench. Play it with all you have. We only get one change to play this game, so swing away! One day I’m looking forward to sliding into “HOME” plate together with you.
